We are excited to announce the 7th annual Run 4 Kids on Saturday, April 12, 2008. We anticipate another great event to support kids!

All proceeds will be donated to The Friends of The Learning Center for Families, to help offer educational services to families of children birth to three, who have significant challenges to their health and development. Last year we had several hundred turn out for the races and it it was enjoyed by all.

The 5K and 10K will be competitive with prizes awarded to the overall winners in the male and female categories plus three deep in each age division. The RunnerCard Timing System is a professional timing system that will be used to time both races so runners are able to see their times just moments after they finish the race. We have capped the race at 700 runners.

The 1K walk/run is a non-competitive fun activity for parents and children of all ages and abilities. Each child will receive prizes, a shirt and refreshments. Parents can register for the 1K in addition to the 5K or 10K.

Registration fees will increase $20 after April 9th, so register early! We are offering both long and short sleeved t-shirts this year. This year we are expecting a fantastic race. We are offering new shirts (long sleeve available too), great prize drawings from sponsors all over Washington County, fantastic race course, and plenty of post-race refreshments.
